The Oasis Pikmin is a Pikmin in Pikmin: The Continents adapted to desert oases, where they spend most of their lives. Their flipper-like feet grant them great swimming ability, but cause a slow walking speed on dry land, making them very vulnerable to predators. If the oasis an Oasis Pikmin inhabits dries up, it will search for and occupy an oasis that was not already claimed by another Oasis Pikmin. Oasis Pikmin submerge themselves completely under the water's surface to protect themselves from the violent sandstorms that occasionally blow through their desert habitat.
