The Eructive Slurker is a large green relative of the Medusal Slurker appearing Pikmin: Elemental Speciation. It has a translucent, gelatinous body, a large forehead with a blowhole in the center, and an antenna tipped with four small feathers. Floating high above the ground of the area it lives in, it casts a greenish shadow below itself. It occasionally emits a loud noise before extending its uvula-like membrane downwards to trap any Pikmin below within and then retracting it into its body, lowering downward as a result of the added weight if it caught any. After absorbing Pikmin, it fires them out of its blowhole at other Pikmin. When a fired Pikmin lands, it is planted into the ground and releases a burst of toxic gas that poisons Pikmin in its range; other Pikmin that are hit directly by the launched Pikmin will die, regardless of poison immunity. After shooting somewhere between half and all of the Pikmin it swallowed, it will repeat the absorbing attack. Starting upon reaching half-health, it starts spewing poison clouds when it attacks with the uvula and will spit out more Pikmin, as well as some rocks it pulls out of the ground when it uses the uvula.

“This creature absorbs the noxious gasses that permeate the environment it lives in and incorporates it into its gelatinous body to make it almost completely unpalatable for most creatures. This general lack of predation allows it to grow to very large sizes. The toxic gas inside of this umbloda helps it to partially digest larger nutrients inside it, a characteristic seldom seen in other members of the umbloda family.”

“While its gelatinous flesh may seem tempting to make into the base of a pudding, make use of its antenna instead, as the gas within the membrane is released when cooled. The feathery antenna makes an amazing garnish if heated for a short time, as it melts on your tongue and has a very pleasant sweet-and-sour aftertaste that is sure to complement many a meal.”

“While it may not be as suitable for transport as its more translucent brethren, it could certainly be used as a carrier for much more unsanitary things, like garbage or industrial waste, and the smell would be fully contained too!”
