The Flatoculus is a disguising enemy found in Pikmin: Decayed Leaf. The creature resembles an eyeball, specifically a large, somewhat flat eyeball on the ground. However, it disguises itself as a small, flat stone. If approached, it will reveal its true identity. It will then begin to glow a bright yellow for 3 seconds, before shooting out a ray of yellow light directly upwards. Up to 10 Pikmin caught in this ray can die, and no Pikmin is immune to its attack. However, it has a 5-second cooldown after shooting, during which it is completely helpless. Like with most of the eyebulb family, a thrown Dart Pikmin can instantly kill an eyebulb, while Cactus Pikmin do extreme damage. It pops out of the ground when it dies, making it accessible to transport to the Onion or ship.
