I've seen some pages that have different colored backgrounds, like this one. So I'm asking how to do that to my talk page as well. I looked at the code for that page, but it's completely over my head. Thanks! Poplely 15:39, 30 December 2015 (EST)

Hi! Yeah, it can be confusing... Oh well, that's wikis for you. Anyway, here's the code you want to copy:
{|style="margin-top: 7px; background-color: #[color]; {{Round}} border: 2px solid #[color]; width:100%;"

[insert text here]
Put this at the top of your userpage. Replace everything inside the square brackets with the stuff you want. You can find hex triplets of colors on Wikipedia, or you can just write in the color's name (get rid of the # if you do that, though).
