Firewisp
Firewisp.jpg
Scientific Name Nektara fatuus burnoos
Family Honeywisp
Areas Volcanic Wastes
Underground Areas Jungle Tunnel, Petrified Arbor, Concealed Aquatica
Carry Weight N/A
Seed Worth N/A
Attacks Burns Pikmin

This creature is a relative of the Honeywisp that seems to be red instead of pink. It holds a fireball at the bottom instead of a drop of nectar or a spray dose. This means that there's nothing to be gained for defeating a Firewisp other than a fireball that will break when it hits the ground and endanger non-Red Pikmin. Like the Acidwisp, it too is aggressive.

In PikSpore, it will drop the fireball when your Pikmin are underneath it. The fireball quickly regenerates, making beating this dangerous enemy difficult.

In Pikmin: Connection of the Worlds, these beasts are a common sight at fiery and hostile places. It acts like the Honeywisp, different than in Pikmin: The After Years and PikSpore. Again, however, it does hold a fireball underneath the main body. If it is defeated, be wary that sometimes a dose of an Ultra-Scorching Spray may drop, rather than a fireball.
