The Destructicore is a metal object in Pikmin Forever. It is a prototype 0.5 kilogram. It is found in the final room of the Flurry Shelter by defeating the Helmeted Iceweavil. After the boss is defeated, a shortcut back to the main area is discovered so that one can restock on Purple Pikmin — this metal object needs at least the strength of 50 Purple Pikmin to carry it.

Olimar's Notes[edit]

Without Pikmin lost to Helmeted Iceweavil

Far into the frigid recesses of the Flurry Shelter we found a new clearing, that led to a snowcapped valley. All seemed quiet, and the KHA Lander appeared within reach, when suddenly a horrific insectoid monster attacked brandishing a gigantic ball of ice! Our Pikmin army was valiant, and with our recently acquired Winged Pikmin we swept the beast from the air. It took quick nerves and a bit of frostbite to bring it down, but the Pikmin certainly braved the cold. Once it was vanquished, the creature coughed up this hulking hunk of metal. I don't think I'll ever figure out how it could maintain flight with this in its stomach.

All seemed quiet, and the KHA Lander appeared within reach, when suddenly a horrific insectoid monster attacked brandishing a gigantic ball of ice! Our Pikmin army was valiant, but I was unprepared for how harmoniously this creature had woven its assault with ice. Perhaps it was the blistering cold, but my thoughts could not collect quickly enough to avoid all its hypothermic strikes. But we finally defeated the beast, and this burdensome bulk was left behind. Now that I have it back in the ship, I'd like it to commemorate the Pikmin I lost in that battle. There's just something memorable about this object's stoic simplicity.
